OVERVIEW
DoD SAPRO is committed to safeguarding sensitive information. Sound security measures are in place to protect access and information contained in the database. DSAID complies with DoD and federal regulations regarding information assurance, privacy, and records management. DoD launched the File Locker to better protect and secure victims’ documents. The File Locker utility adds a layer of security to the forms uploaded into DSAID. SARCs access the File Locker in DSAID to store and retrieve DD Forms 2910 for victims of sexual assault to provide documentation to the Department of Veterans Affairs, or if they have lost their copy. Victims can request a copy of their form from their SARC or SAPR VA. Individuals seeking access to records about themselves should address written inquiries using this guidance.
