Radio Blog Dot Mil Docs Promotes Sexual Assault Awareness in the Military
On October 30, 2008, Dot Mil Docs featured Dr. Kaye Whitley, Director of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO). Dr. Whitley discussed her team's efforts to enhance and improve prevention of sexual assault through training and education programs, treatment and support of victims and system accountability in order to create a climate of confidence and trust where everyone is afforded respect and dignity.
Dot Mil Docs was a 30-minute, live, online radio show done in interview format. The program highlights the military health system and the people who make it work. You can tune in to the broadcast here on our website and each show is archived online, available for listening at any time, day or night.

The Department of Defense announced the release of the second annual report on the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program. The report provides data on alleged sexual assaults reported to military officials during calendar year 2005 in which members of the Armed Forces are victims or offenders.
